Ironic
Ironic that the one running for the Vice Presidency lost to someone who is Mayor of the City that his great grandfather helped become what it is today.
one running who lost = Senator Mar Roxas
mayor = Jejomar Binay
city = City of Makati
great grandfather = the late President Manuel Roxas, relative of the Ayalas, who, during his term, helped move the business district from the City of Manila to where Greenbelt is right now "dito po sa Makati"
Ironic, isn't it?
There's always a second time though, try to run for President after Noynoy's term. You have to keep an eye for Binay though, I bet he'll run for President too by then.
That's democracy in action. So whoever we are, whoever we vote or didnt vote for, let's now set aside our differences and work together and help build our country.
We all want what's best for the country, right?
I hope so. :)

Even the public has already accepted a Binay Vice-Presidency.
not really ironic. more of a little unfortunate. hehe
i'm a makati resident so i know what binay's done to the place. he's corrupt like anything but he does a lot of good too.
@Mu[g]en: True. But I still cant help but feel almost sick every time I remember he won by a few hundred thousand. But then again, it is the will of the people and that's how things are, how things should be. :) vox populi, vox Dei as they say
@ʎonqʎʇıɔ: He did a lot of good things, true, I just wish more had been done considering the resources of the city. ;)
At the end of the day, the people have spoken and the winners won. I pray that he and all the elected officials maximize and use the powers given to them by the people for the greater good of the people.
